The Heart of the Matter – Mark 7:1-23

Take your copy of God’s Word and meet me in Mark 7:1…

If you’re like me, you’ve experienced the frustration of putting food in the microwave to heat it up, only to find that when the timer goes off, the food is hot outside and still cold on the inside. Well, I read that a relatively new microwave is on the marker called the “Inverter.” It’s allegedly different from every other microwave. It heats from the inside out. In this microwave, the visible effects on the outside are determined by the changes brought about internally first. So, when you go to touch your food, you don’t have to worry about cutting it in half to see if it’s warm on the inside because what you feel on the outside is an outward reflection of the transformation that’s taken place inwardly.
